Mend your clothes with Sashiko! Sashiko is the ancient Japanese art of stitching two pieces of fabric together with a running stitch to enhance their beauty and make them more resistant to wear and tear. 

Create a stunning piece of upcycled fashion in this workshop at the Lend and Mend Hub on the first floor of the AK Bell Library. Don’t forget to bring an item of clothing for repair.

The session is free and suitable for 16+. Before attending the session, all participants must complete a short Lend and Mend induction to become familiar with the space and equipment.
