Fair Maid's House and Visitor Centre RSGS

The RSGS is a small, dynamic, educational charity, working across Scotland and beyond to promote geographical understanding and joined-up thinking. 

They organise inspirational public talks and events, publish an excellent magazine, share ideas through their broad network, engage in important policy discussions, champion the teaching of Geography, maintain a fascinating historical collection, and develop exciting projects.

Our visitor centre, the Fair Maid's House, is in the city centre of Perth, next to our headquarters and behind the Concert Hall. It is the Geographical Heart of Scotland and everyone is welcome to visit!

Admission is by donation to RSGS. The centre is manned entirely by volunteers, so if you are planning a special journey you may wish to check in advance that it will be open.
