The John Muir Trust is the UK charity dedicated to protecting and enhancing wild places, for the benefit of all.

Founded in 1983, the Trust owns and works in partnership to care for some of the UK's most wonderful wild places, including Ben Nevis, Schiehallion, Sandwood Bay and areas across Skye, Knoydart and Assynt.

The learning space is made from native windblown timber and features:

A permanent exhibition about our work, packed with inspiring photography and a stirring four-minute film.

Unique audio journeys that whisk you to Sandwood Bay, Ben Nevis, Knoydart and Skye.

The Alan Reece Gallery, displaying work from different artists throughout the year.

A shop (and online shop) with a selection of books and other merchandise for sale.
