A Costume Drama

A Costume Drama invites visitors to explore an exceptional collection of professionally designed costumes from popular TV and film, uniquely displayed alongside authentic historical garments from the Murray family of Blair Castle.

This thoughtful comparison brings centuries of fashion to life in a truly distinctive way.

Included with standard admission, the exhibition runs from 1 April to 30 October 2026.

Highlights include the coronation gown worn by Jenna Coleman in Victoria, a saffron pelisse dress worn by Anya Taylor-Joy in Emma, and pieces from Downton Abbey, The Duchess, and Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.

Please note it is located on the top two floors of Blair Castle and is not wheelchair accessible. However, a second ground-floor exhibition on James Hutton and Glen Tilt is fully accessible.
