Join us at Scone Library to celebrate the National Year of Reading when we welcome local children’s author, Fiona Lowry, who will be reading her picture book, Mousey Mornings, followed by a library scavenger hunt, craft session, and author signing.

About the Author

Fiona is an award-winning children’s author based in Perthshire, where she lives with her family. Having grown up in the idyllic, peaceful, and secluded countryside, her childhood was full of freedom and adventure. 

Fiona uses this inspiration in her writing to encourage children to retain and listen to their inner voice. She provides happy stories with a gentle message for children – and adults alike – that anything is possible. Finding their inner confidence, facing their fears, or seeing beauty in their own (and everyone’s) unique design.
