Kids Art Class

Kids Art Class is run by Sara Barr, a qualified Primary School Teacher for nearly 20 years, with an Art Degree from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee. During classes, students gain experience with lots of different art skills, techniques and medium. We give everything a go and work at our own pace and ability. Students are given lessons on skills, techniques and use of materials and are then given the time and space to be creative and make their own art pieces using the knowledge they have been taught. All students are encouraged to be independent, building on their confidence and positive mental health and well-being. Students will build on many other skills such as thinking, problem solving, organisation and social. Everyone goes home after each class, feeling proud and with a wonderful art creation!
