Meanwhile, The Black Watch Castle and Museum unveils an Easter adventure from March 29th to April 12th, inviting families to explore the castle's grounds with crafts like Creepy Crawly Quest and Castle Garden Adventure. On March 30th, Balhousie Castle opens its doors for an egg-ceptional day, featuring The Great Easter Egg Hunt, themed crafts, and Easter cookie decorating. Prepare for a Perthshire Easter, blending history, nature, and family fun!

Destiny Awaits: Scone Palace Opening Weekend

To celebrate the return of the Stone of Destiny to Perthshire, Scone Palace will host an exciting range of family friendly activities from Friday 29th until Sunday 31st March. Craft your Own Crown before proceeding up to the famous Moot Hill to be crowned in the Crowning Place of Scottish Kings and Queens. Bring your own decorated egg to roll down Moot Hill, go for an Egg Hunt in the Murray Star Maze and count all the chicks and bunnies hiding in the Palace. Suitable for all ages.

Join us for four unique crafts, including Creepy Crawly Quest and Castle Garden Adventure, where kids explore the castle grounds and create crafts inspired by creatures, insects, and spring flora. Engage in Feathered Friends Fun and Eggcellent Blossom crafts, which will encourage outdoor exploration and let their creativity flow with fun activities. Plus, on Wednesday 3rd April, enjoy object handling sessions in the Museum. Immerse your family in the beauty of Balhousie Castle and its surroundings. Ideal for families with children aged 3-12.
