The Hairy Highland Coo Trail

Are you ready for The Hairy Highland Coo Trail? Starting on June 28th, 30 Highland Cow sculptures are set to take over Perth and the surrounding area, forming a free 10-week art trail for visitors of all ages to enjoy. Each sculpture, sponsored by a local business, has been designed by artists from Perth's surrounding areas.

Visitors are encouraged to use a bespoke map and mobile app to follow the coo-scattered trail, with organisers hoping that the trail will help people discover new places, along with encouraging individuals to revisit their favourite spots locally. The organisers have also revealed that visitors to the trail will also be able to unlock exciting awards and discounts (to local businesses) along the way!

Culminating on September 6th, the herd will congregate before being auctioned off at a special event to raise money for CHAS, Children's Hospices Across Scotland, a charity that offer full family support services for babies, children and young people with life-shortening conditions.
